Smoke ventilation control cabinet

More details

Automatic fire suppression system control cabinets (AFSSCC) are used in fire management systems in facilities of any purposes. Upon receiving signals from various sensors cabinets start to implement appropriate measures.

Equipment features

  • Equipment is controlled remotely using specific program.
  • All the data is transferred to the operator’s equipment and monitored on computer screen, tablet or smartphone.
  • Power ranges from 0,37 to 132 kilowatt, both in manual and automatic modes.
  • Pump station is protected from dry running, hydraulic shock, overload and short circuit in frequency transformer output or smooth starting device etc

Types of automatic fire suppression system control cabinets

Depending on assembly set AFSSCC can perform one or several controlling functions:

  • Smoke ventilation
  • Fire protection pump,
  • Emergency valves.

Pump control cabinet (PCC) is designed to control single- or three-phase fire protection pump electric motors of sprinkler or water deluge firefighting systems either in “Manual release” mode or caused to operate by signals from external control systems in “Automatic release” mode, with pumps status displayed with light indication, or from the operator’s panel with interpreted data and signal transferring to external systems.

Emergency valves control cabinets (EVCC) are designed to control single-phase electric drives of the fire suppression water supply valves. Cabinet allows opening and closing of the valves in automatic and manual modes, valve position control, water level in reservoir control or initiating valves from the external controls. Valve control in automatic mode is done by signals from valve initiating devices and level indicators, with monitoring and displaying conditions with light indicators, as well as on the operator’s panel with interpreted data and signal transferring to external systems. Manual mode is done through use of buttons and indicators located on the door of a cabinet, as well as on the operator’s panel.

Smoke ventilation control cabinets (SVCC) are designed to control single- or three-phase blast engine or exhaust fan of smoke ventilation system electric motors either in “Manual release” mode from the front control panel of the SVCC or caused to operate by signals from external control systems in “Automatic release” mode, with fans’ status displayed with light indication, or from the operator’s panel with interpreted data and signal transferring to external systems, SVCC can also be optionally equipped with controls for electric heater.
